Summary & Response

Chihuahuas Rescued from Brown County, Ohio, Puppy Mill Get New Homes

In this article, “Chihuahuas Rescued from Brown County, Ohio, Puppy Mill Get New Homes” it tells how the puppy mill in Brown County, Ohio, rescued dozens of Chihuahuas and other dogs by adopting them. This shows how their organization care and love for the animals. Many of the canines that were rescued only suffered from fleas and other medical conditions. The total cost accounted for the animal welfare organization resulted at $28,000. Also the owner that was the cause of this incident for these poor canines, Teri Lea Hamilton, is facing more animal cruelty charges.
Doing this good deed brings out the realization of the puppy mill organization and how they support the lives of animals and are against animal cruelty. Even though there are cruel people that harm or do not care for animals, there still are the people who do. In the article they also point out that people can help buy adopting animals, which is what I am going to do when I own my own home. In the article they tell how the owner of the cause is facing charges, so that proves it is against animal rights and you will get punished for going against them. This article proves you can save animals without any costs. Animals should be treated right just like human beings.

  1. I liked the article you picked as it shows that there are people out there to help animals that are suffering. You might of included a bit more details on how they got rescued or how they found the dogs. Over all you did a good job summarizing the article.

  2. Good choice of article although it would have been better to choose one that had an author. You needed less summary and more response from you on whether you agreed or disagreed with the article.

  3. Interesting topic, but there's just one sentence that isnt making sense to me.

"Even though there are cruel people that harm or do not care for animals, there still are the people who do"

when you say that there are still people who do, it sounds like you're saying the same thing twice.

Other than that, I liked your summary response.

  4. Nice summary of the article. I would also say a little more response of how you felt was needed. And I agree with the last sentence that animals should be treated equally.
